Atlanta based Do it Yourself (DIY) Pest Control made its much anticipated move to the SiteRocker platform April 22, and Cindy Cline, co-owner/Internet Implementation, says it was well worth the wait.
Highland Software chose the DIY project for its first full blown beta test of SiteRocker’s various components, due to the complex integration issues that would be faced in moving the DIY site to a “best of breed e-commerce engine” with flexible CMS solutions...overnight.
“We were challenged to make the transition during normal business hours, without compromising the customer experience and without losing a single transaction,” said Bruce Spengler, founder and CEO of Highland Software, who was on-site at DIY’s warehouse working side by side with their customer service technicians for the switchover.
“The project was a complete success,” said Cindy Cline, “and it was delivered on target and within the budget. It has been a trust issue like no other vendor relationship we’ve had. Someone is always there for me.”
Cline also reports that the SiteRocker implementation has saved her company money in the form of avoided operational costs, and the enhancements delivered immediate search engine optimization (SEO) benefits.
