Client: Do It Yourself Pest Control, LLC

Need: DoYourOwnPestControl.com needed more advanced features than Intershop could provide, and their industry leadership position was at stake without serious upgrades and improved usability. 

Limited customer experience and limited web integration with internal systems translated into limited profitability.  A customized online solution was needed for improved content management solutions (CMS) and greatly enhanced e-commerce engine capabilities.  

Rollover would need to take place during normal business hours, without losing a single sale or compromising a single customer experience.

Solution: Highland has been working for over a year on a state-of-the-art e-commerce replacement for Intershop and epages. We wanted to take the best of everything we have learned over the last 10 years of providing e-commerce solutions to our customers, and make it even better!

On April 22, 2009 we launched a new storefront for DoYourOwnPestControl.com and it went straight into orbit! Over 200 orders per day and counting, with no hiccups during the rollover.

DIY's site became the first full blown test for SiteRocker on a customer site, combining its highly flexible CMS system with a "best of breed" e-commerce engine.

DIY experienced immediate payback  for its investment, with avoided operational costs at the call center and a sharp increase in quality online traffic through improved SEO strategies.
