IT Supplies


Need: IT Supplies had been a customer of Highland for several years, but was in desparate need of an upgrade to their online store. 

IT Supplies' operations were using MOM (Mail Order Manager) running on a separate MS SQL Server system to managed inventory and shipping. The E-commerce system had to integrate smoothly with that system.


Solution: IT Supplies worked with Jenny Frank, Highland Software's ace Project Manager, for over a year to define and implement a new look and feel for their site.

Highland initiated a custom dedicated VPN tunnel to allow SiteRocker and MOM to talk with each other. The custom .NET application written by Geoffrey Parker formated the SiteRocker data for the MOM system.

After thorough testing, the new IT Supplies site went live October 28, 2009.
